Duration of Data Storage
Unless a more specific storage period is specified elsewhere in this privacy policy, your personal data will be deleted or blocked by us as soon as the purpose of storage is no longer applicable. Data required for accounting purposes will be retained until the expiry of the statutory retention periods (generally 10 years).
3. Data Collection on this Website
Server Log Files
The provider of the website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and uninterrupted operation of the website).
Contact Form
If you send inquiries to us via the contact form, the data you enter (name, email address, company, message) will be stored for the purpose of processing your request and in case of follow-up questions. To process your inquiry, we use Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), a service of Brevo SAS, 55 Rue d'Amsterdam, 75008 Paris, France. Your data is processed on servers within the EU. Brevo is certified under EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR). Brevo's privacy policy is available at https://www.brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy/. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). The data is deleted once your request has been conclusively processed.
Enquiry Form on our Landing Page
On our “Plant Protection Enquiry” page you can request a non-binding quote via a multi-step form. We process the information you provide about your business and purchasing needs (including type of business – farmer/dealer, farmed area, crops and indications, desired products or active ingredients, timing of demand, purchase quantities, logistics, availability of a certificate of competence) as well as your contact details (company/farm name, first and last name, e-mail address, phone number) in order to handle your enquiry and prepare a quote. To protect against spam, we also evaluate technical characteristics of the submission (e.g. the time taken to complete the form). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and, for spam protection, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data will be deleted once the enquiry has been fully processed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
If you have consented to the use of marketing services, we only transmit the information that an enquiry was submitted (and the selected type of business) to Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta and LinkedIn (see section 4). The content of your form, such as your name, e-mail address or phone number, is not transmitted.
4. Analysis Tools and Advertising
We use the following services to analyse and optimise this website and for marketing purposes. These are only activated with your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and can be revoked at any time via our cookie settings.
Google Tag Manager
We use the Google Tag Manager (Container ID: GTM-NL42GFQ7) provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The Google Tag Manager is a pure management tool and does not process any personal data itself. It enables the integration of other scripts (see below) which are only activated after your consent. For information on data processing by Google, visit: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Data transfers to the USA are based on Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR.
Google Analytics 4
This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. GA4 analyses user behaviour on the website using cookies and similar technologies. The data collected (including anonymised IP address, page views, session duration, device information) is processed on Google's servers, potentially transferred to the USA and stored there. IP addresses are anonymised before transfer (IP masking). Storage duration of GA4 cookies: up to 24 months. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time via our cookie settings.
Google Ads / Conversion Tracking
We use Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking provided by Google Ireland Limited. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is set. This cookie expires after 90 days. It contains no personal information and is not used for personal identification. The information collected via the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for clients who have opted in to conversion tracking. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). Data transfers to the USA are based on Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR.
Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms)
We use the Meta Pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland (“Meta”). This allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertisements on Facebook and Instagram (e.g. whether an enquiry was submitted after clicking an ad) and to show targeted ads to visitors of our website there (remarketing). Cookies (e.g. _fbp) are set and data such as IP address, browser information, pages visited and triggered events (page view, enquiry) are transmitted to Meta. If you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram, Meta may associate the visit with your account.
We and Meta are joint controllers for the collection and transmission of the data (Art. 26 GDPR); the agreement is available at https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum. Meta is solely responsible for any further processing. Data may be transferred to the USA; Meta is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR). LinkedIn Insight Tag
We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland. It provides us with statistics on the performance of our LinkedIn ads (e.g. conversions after an ad click) and aggregated demographic reports (e.g. industry, company size), and enables us to show ads on LinkedIn to visitors of our website (retargeting). Cookies are set and data such as IP address, browser information, referrer URL and timestamp are transmitted to LinkedIn. We do not receive names or contact details of individual visitors from LinkedIn. Data may be transferred to the USA; LinkedIn is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG), which you can withdraw at any time. LinkedIn privacy policy: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy
Brevo Tracking and Web Push Notifications
We use the website tracking (marketing automation) and web push service of Brevo, a service of Brevo SAS, 55 Rue d’Amsterdam, 75008 Paris, France. The tracking records which pages of our website you visit and – if you are already known to us as a contact, e.g. via a form or newsletter – links this information to your contact in Brevo so that we can send you relevant information. A cookie (sib_cuid) is set for this purpose. You will only receive web push notifications (technically provided via WonderPush) if you additionally and explicitly allow them in your browser; data is stored in your browser’s local storage for this purpose. The data is processed on servers in the EU. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG), which you can withdraw at any time via our cookie settings or your browser’s notification settings.
